Did you know there's a "Nigerian Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" since 1947?
Every day we hear different kinds of news about the bad treatment of
animals in Nigeria, the decimation of marine wildlife (crocodiles have
become an endangered species, seriously. They are daily killed and
turned to pepper soup) so my shock is better imagined when I discovered
we have a society that champions the fair treatment of animals in
Nigeria.
