Money problems delay Super Eagles’ journey to Zambia

Nigeria's football team will arrive just 22 hours before their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia after being delayed because of financial problems.

The players were supposed to leave the country today.

They are now expected to land in Zambia on Saturday afternoon, and only train once before facing Zambia on Sunday.

Amaju Pinnick, the head of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), told the sports committee of Nigeria's senate that the NFF had difficulty paying for a charter flight and accommodation.

The NFF boss also confirmed that the country's Europe-based players were ordered to buy their own flight tickets and fly economy to join the training camp in Nigeria's capital, Abuja.

In August, Nigeria's Olympic team only arrived hours before their first match because of transport difficulties.

South African woman claims dead ex-boyfriend is demanding sex from her (photos)

A woman whose former boyfriend died in 2014 claims he is haunting her.

Thre woman
The woman (29), from Bhobhoyi, KZN in South Africa said at the time of his death the man was no longer her boyfriend.

She told Daily Sun that when the man (35) died, he was already living with another woman in the Eastern Cape.
“A few months before his death we had been living together in a one-roomed house. We
had built the house with the money we made from piece jobs.”
The woman now lives with another man in the house.
“My lover is currently building on two more rooms.
“But this seems to have made my dead ex-boyfriend jealous, because I have not had peace since he began to build.
“He’s haunted me every night since February this year,” the woman said.
“He gives me hot klaps and even demands sex from me.
“He asks me about my new man and demands that I leave him.”
The woman said she has left her house and now spends most of her time at her new man’s shack.
“We have stopped building until I get a traditional healer to help me. I’ve been to sangomas but the muthi they give me to chase away his spirit doesn’t seem to work.”
Her new lover has promised to continue with the building as soon as they have found help.
“He doesn’t klap her when she is with me. If he was still alive I would have talked to him man to man,” said the man.
Sazi Mhlongo, president of the South African Traditional Healers Association, said the woman should seek help from an inyanga, not a sangoma.
“A strong inyanga will be able chase away the man’s spirit,” he said.

Benita Okojie shows off her boyfriend, reveals wedding plans (photos)

Benita Okojie, the once-upon-a-little girl that thrilled Nigerians with soul lifting gospel songs many years ago, is all grown up and ready to get married.

In a recent interview with Nneka Nwaneri, when asked about plans for marriage,  Ms Okojie said:

“When it is the right time, I will marry my own because marriage is something you shouldn’t rush into. It is a life time thing. You need the leading of the Holy Spirit and if you rush into it, you will rush out. So, I am taking my time to listen to the voice of God, so that I will get married at the right time to the right person. It could be this year or next year. “

Describing her ideal man, she confirmed that she is already in a relationship which has been ordained by God:

She said:
“What kind of man does not count at this point now because I am already in a relationship. Of course, he would have possessed the qualities I wanted for me to have chosen him and be in a relationship with him. Above all, it is God who chooses people for us, and more importantly, I want a man that loves God and believes in my ministry.”
